Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Plastik Rekonstruksi is committed to maintaining academic integrity, originality, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. All submitted manuscripts must represent original scholarly work, with appropriate acknowledgement of ideas, data, and text derived from other sources.
The journal uses Turnitin as a similarity checking tool to assist the editorial team in identifying potential textual overlap with existing publications and other available sources. Submitted manuscripts may be screened during the initial editorial assessment and throughout the peer review process when necessary.
Similarity reports are evaluated contextually by the editorial team. The similarity score alone does not determine whether plagiarism has occurred. Particular attention is given to unattributed copying, inappropriate paraphrasing, duplicate publication, and the unauthorised reuse of previously published material.
Manuscripts suspected of plagiarism may be subject to further investigation. Depending on the severity of the violation, the journal may request clarification or revision, reject the manuscript, or take other appropriate action in accordance with its publication ethics policies.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their submissions, accurately citing all sources, and obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material when required.
Through this policy, Jurnal Plastik Rekonstruksi seeks to uphold research integrity, protect intellectual property rights, and maintain the credibility of the scholarly record.
