We are proud to present Volume 10, Issue 2 of Jurnal Plastik Rekonstruksi, featuring a diverse selection of studies and case reports that contribute valuable insights into the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
This edition includes an evaluation of free flap outcomes in the reconstruction of locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue, offering crucial data on surgical effectiveness. Another article discusses an early dangling protocol after lower extremity free flap surgery, supported by an evidence-based case report. A case series explores the use of forehead flaps for facial defect reconstruction, accompanied by a literature review. Additionally, methods for reconstructing facial soft tissues following tumor resection at Soedarso General Hospital (2017–2022) are analyzed, providing practical and contextual insights. Finally, a unique case report examines the management of cyanoacrylate glue burn injuries in a 2-year-old child.
